MSM Los Patos Tropicana is a compact, beautifully renovated apartment in Benalmádena Costa, a couple of minutes' walk from the beach. It is an easy place to be: an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a sofa bed in the living room, so it sleeps three. Everything opens toward the light, and a slice of the Mediterranean sits at the end of the terrace.
The terrace is where the days begin and end. It faces the sea over the rooftops of Benalmádena — room for breakfast in the morning sun, dinner in the evening, and the coast turning gold as the light goes. The sand is close enough that the beach becomes an extension of the apartment rather than an outing.
